Has it ever been a while. Oh goodness.
Been up to a good deal of this and that.
It’s been a lovely spring here in Boston,
And now the heat is coming on. S’ok.

Work (the 9-5) has been interesting: and I’ve been learning new skills generally out of necessity. Previous specialty service providers have been retiring, so where applicable I’ve tried to do what I can. Frame repair and in-painting. Mouldmaking for decorative scrollwork on frames. Also: I’ve been up to a very small amount of artwork restoration for a few clients as well. Color matching is very challenging for me, but I’m getting better. I’d share photos but those objects aren’t mine to publish, I err towards consideration/privacy.
yet/however; here are a few I do feel OK sharing:











A plentiful potpourri of play.
I’m getting better at hand-cutting matboards too. It stresses me out so much. Sharp objects and perfect lines while also applying a direct intense force… I understand the use of CNC technology. But this is how it was done generally all the time previously.
And that’s it for now. There’s plenty more, it’s just…
If I drop it all here, what else will I infrequently write about?
Oh, I think next time I’ll take you on a terraria tour.
