Very cute, and hope my plant friends will be happy. For some places it’s longer than others. When I grew up it was weeks at a time with snow blanketed hemlocks stretching vigorously while the black birch spring to life and the sugar maples drained in cadence into tapped catch buckets. To see and live and love with the eyes of a child, I cannot enough rediscover the sensation of the ever ongoing journey that is the Beginner’s Mind.
