Work in Progress, September 2026. Eh x idk”, who cares any more any way- it’s an art amount of actual contextual truths arranged with intention and as some have attested as being interesting and sometime clever. WIP. Hand-cut collage, mixed media, pigment, vinyl. 12 x 13”, at the moment. …friction is the engine. Surrender not into that ‘Comfortable’ night. Lammas 2026 Amid the Tesseracts, hand-cut collage with Mylar, pigment, graphite, adhesive on board. 10 x 14”, 2026. Had some fun making this wooden mount box for this handsome staghorn fern, added some rooted curly willows. Made from scrap wood around the workshop. Very cute, and hope my plant friends will be happy. WIP: Thinking of You + Wishing You Were Here, 6 x 6 x .5”; mixed media postcard addressed to @madsahara, acrylic, wood, paper, adhesive, steel; 2026-ongoing. Ian Babylon x Rekçup Dranreb x @billaron.photography x @lihongweistudio 2026 collab of the century, open reception this Saturday afternoon. 😎 Samsaracognition, hand-cut collage on board with pigment, vinyl, acetate, and adhesives. 8.2 x 11.7” (A4); 2026. Late Twilight Western Stars, Esplanade, Boston. Wednesday 04 March, 2026. Thaw and the time of ephemeral pools, these have always been the most lovely and fleeting of seasons. For some places it’s longer than others. When I grew up it was weeks at a time with snow blanketed hemlocks stretching vigorously while the black birch spring to life and the sugar maples drained in cadence into tapped catch buckets. To see and live and love with the eyes of a child, I cannot enough rediscover the sensation of the ever ongoing journey that is the Beginner’s Mind.
